Celebrating National Mentoring Day 2025 with alta

This October, alta will proudly celebrate National Mentoring Day 2025 with an evening dedicated to exploring the transformative power of mentorship in aviation and aerospace.
Organised by the alta Mentoring Steering Group and supported by the University of the West of England (UWE), the event will bring together industry professionals, mentors, and mentees to reflect on the value of mentoring and the vital role it plays in shaping careers.
Inspiring Speakers:
The evening will feature Ruth Mallors-Ray FRAeS, Consultant in Aerospace & Innovation, who will share her personal insights and professional experiences, highlighting the lasting impact mentoring can have throughout a career.
We are also delighted to welcome Kirsten L. Riensema, MSc, FRAeS, ALTA Ambassador, who will take part in a fireside chat to discuss her experiences as a mentor on the alta platform.
Networking and Connection:
Beyond the lecture and fireside chat, the event will provide an excellent opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and build meaningful mentoring relationships with peers from across the sector.
